Arkansas Razorbacks

The team was first started by the university's latin teacher John Futrall in they year 1894 and only played 3 games the whole season. The Razorbacks were originally called the cardinals, but durring the 1909 season, coach Hugo Bezdek called the players played "like a wild band of razorback hogs." Once the media heard this they all fell in love with the name and it was changed. Since then the Razorbacks have lived up to their nickname and played some great aggresive football. This team is one of the most winningest teams ever in the NCAA with a complete record of 676–451–40 making them the 23rd. The Razorbacks have a 7-1 record this 2011-2012 season. They were on a 3 game win streak but that was ended by one of their rivals #2 Alabama. Since that tough lose they have started another win streak of four games and this weekend they will be looking to extend that against fellow SEC contender the Tennessee Vols.
