Coldplay Bio
Coldplay, originally named Starfish, was formed in 1998, in London, England. They are an alternative rock group. The four maembers are; Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, and Jonny Buckland. Chris and Jonny met at the orientation of University College London, and their goal was to make a band. WIll and Guy were the next to join. The founder of the record label Fierce Panda, Simon Williams, discovered them at a London club.
To date, they have sold over 50 million records worldwide. They have totaled 117 award nominations and won 43 awards.
