Reading
The Amazons defeated Reading twice in reagular season games, and dominated the tournament game winning 54-26.
CHCA
CHCA was supposed to win this game, but the Zons came out and showed how much heart they had. This is where the Zons started there big tournament run. The Cinderella team won again, 62-46.
Versailles
It was a close game until Amanda Davis hit a three pointer at the half. After that the Zons took over winning 35-26. Watch the three pointer below.
Morral Ridgedale
Madeira came out strong against Ridgedale. Free throws are what won it for us in the end. Ann Staubach was 12/12 from the free throw line. The Zons won 44-38.
Springfield Northwestern
The game came down to the final shot in over time by Springfield Northwestern. The Zons were up by two with six seconds left. The Springfield Northwestern girl took a shot that the refs called a three. I'll let u decide if that was the right call. Madeira won 46-44. Watch the last second shot below.
South Euclid Regina
The Zons played an amazing game but Regina was too good. Madeira lost 31-58. Madeira was the only team to score that many agains Regina in the tournament. Regina eventually went on to win state.
