The Monuments

Shown on left, is the Yankees Monument Park. This is a memorial to all the retired numbers from the Yankees organization in its entire history. This is located beyond the home run wall in Yankee Stadium, and is a must see for all visitors to the stadium. It is considered a great honor to be included among these great players. The monuments at one time were actually in the field of play. Then there were only a select few, but they stood in center field, and many times it came into play during a ball game.
