2008-2009

He hit 60-of-104 shots from the field for 57.7 percent for the season. He averaged 4.4 ppg. and 4.4 rpg. in just 14.6 minutes a game. He earned the number eight "Play of the Day" on ESPN's “SportsCenter” with his athletic block in the Cincinnati game that stopped a UC fast break. In his first game at Xavier, he posted a double-double against IPFW with 10 points and 10 rebounds.  This was the first double-double by a Musketeer in a season opener or in his XU debut since Brian Thornton had 14 points and 12 rebounds against Oakland in the 2004-05 season.

International Experience

He traveled to Taiwan in July of 2008 on a men's basketball tour with the sports ministry, Athletes in Action.  They represented the United States in the 29th Annual William Jones Cup International Tournament. It is an Olympic-level, 10-team tournament annually offers competition and ministry outreach in Asia.

At Tulsa

He played in all 31 games, starting seven times, for the Golden Hurricanes. He averaged 6.0 points and shot 55.8 percent (67-of-120) from the field as a freshman. He helped Tulsa and head coach Doug Wojcik record a 20-11 overall record.

High School

He was a three-year letterman and starter. He averaged 14.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocked shots a game as a senior, while being named to the All-Region and All-District all-star teams.  He led his senior team to a 27-1 record.  He averaged 11.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 3.0 blocks as a junior.
