History

Here is all of the history of the band
with out the fine details of the members.

The band was originally called Simle when they had Freddi, Brian, Roger and Tim Staffel as the singer. Due to a lack of success at first, the band broke up for a little. Eventually when Tim left for good Freddie, Brian and Roger got back together and called them selves "Queen" with bass player Mike Grose.

The band lost Mike to another band and after that they went through bass players at about one a week. Then a young player named John Deacon came and auditioned. He got the spot and that was when Freddie made their crest. It was a combination of the band members family crests. 2 lions a crab and a nyumph/virgin sy,bolizing the combination of Leo, Leo, Cancer and Virgo.

In November 1972 Queen released their first album simply called "Queen". Then their second album was in March 1974 and their first tour was also at this time.

“ There was all that time when we knew Freddie was on the way out, we kept our heads down. ”
-Brian May.

In 1988 people noticed how gaunt Freddie looked on stage. Everyone thought he had AIDs but he denied that he had it and continued to tour. Then on November 23rd 1991 Freddie confermed that he had AIDs while on his death bed 12 hours before he died. The rest of the Band is still alive today and doing some little things with Queen related gigs, but other wise they have retired from the music industry.
