Paul McCartney

Paul was born in Liverpool, England on June 18th, 1942 to James and Mary McCartney. In 1953, he attended the Liverpool Institute because of his good marks in school. The next year, he met bandmate George Harrison on the bus. Paul's father was a trumpet and piano player, which influenced Paul to pursue a musical career. Paul later acquired a guitar, and began to learn to and write music, despite the trouble of overcoming playing left-handed.
