The Fray's Joe King

 

Joe King started the band with former classmate Slade in 2002. King also co-writes all of The Fray's songs, and is the lead guitarist and sings as well. Before forming The Fray, King had previously been in bands of his own, including Spruce and Fancy's Show Box. He is the oldest member of the band. Joe Kings sings lead for the song "Heaven Forbid," which he wrote for his sister.
