Angels and Airwaves History
The History
Angels and Airwaves was formed at about February 2005, just after the lead singer/guitarist, Tom Delonge, broke up with his band, Blink-182. Angels and Airwaves differs a lot from Tom's old band. Angelsand Airwaves, or AVA, released their first album May 23rd 2006. AVA then announced that theirbassist, Ryan Sinn would be replaced with ex-30 Seconds to Mars bassist, Matt Wachter. Soon after thatAngels and Airwaves released their second album, I-Empire on November 1, 2007. Around the same time they released I-empire, they also made a documentary called "Start the Machine June 17, 2008. Tom then decided to reunite with his ex band, blink-182, which did a 60 day American tour. Now that the tour is over, Angels and Airwaves are working on a new album called "Love" and also a movie with the same title.
