Songwriting

Conor is most known for his diversity and different style. He doesn't like repeating lines or verses in his songs, he prefers continually constructing new verses. He always feels as if his songs aren't finished and should have something added to them. In addition to songs, Conor has written some poetry and short stories, but has not published anything. In 2008, Conor Oberst was named "Best Songwriter" by Rolling Stone magazine.
