BATMAN MOVIES

	BATMAN THE MOVIE Starring Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. It was based off of the TV Show with the same stars and included the villains Joker, The Peguin, Catwoman, and The Riddler.
	BATMAN The first Batman movie directed by Tim Burton. It starred Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as Joker. It was a darker portrayal of Batman than the Adam West version.
	BATMAN RETURNS The second Batman movie by Tim Burton and the sequel to BATMAN. It brought back Michael Keaton as Batman and also starred Danny DeVito as The Peguin and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman.
	BATMAN FOREVER The next in the series following BATMAN and BATMAN RETURNS. It was directed by Joel Shumacher and was more psychedellic than Tim Burton's dark movies. It starred Val Kilmer as Batman, Tommy Lee Jones as Two-Face, Jim Carrey as the Riddler, and introduced Robin into the four-part series as played by Chris O'Donnel.
	BATMAN & ROBIN The fourth and final installment of the Batman series created by Tim Burton. It was also directed by Joel Shumacher and starred George Clooney as Batman, brought back Chris O'Donnel as Robin, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze, and Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy.
	BATMAN BEGINS The first installment of the current Batman series directed by Christopher Nolan. Tells the origin story of Batman and focuses on Bruce Wayne's motives for doing what he does. Stars Christian Bale as Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred the Butler, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, and Cilian Murphy as The Scarecrow.
	THE DARK KNIGHT The second installment of Christopher Nolan's series and the most recently released Batman film. It Retains the majority of the first's cast, except for the replacement of Bruce Wayne's love interest (Katie Holmes in Batman Begins) with Maggie Gyllenhaal. The film also stars Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, and Heath Ledger as The Joker.
