Coach Mills

Bolt is coached by Glen Mills who descibes him as a father figure and who Usain Bolt credits with much of his success. Mills started coaching Bolt after the 2004 Olympics. He has worked to improve his physical conditioning and technical training to become a smater runner rather then rely on purely raw talent.

Mills has worked with some of the Caribbeans top sprinters since the 1970's such as two time olympic finalist Raymond Stewart, 100m World Champion Kim Collins, Olympic glod medalist Aileen Bailey.

Mills started as a 14 year old assistant head coach once he realized though he loved track, he just didn't have the strength nor speed to do well. By the time he was in 10th grade he was in charge of the Class Three boys.
