Biography

Tim Burton was born August 25, 1958 in Burbank, California. He started drawing at an early age. He spent most of his childhood as a recluse, drawing cartoons and watching old movies (he was especially fond of films with Vincent Price). When he was in the ninth grade, a local garbage company recognized his artistic talent when he won a prize for an anti-litter poster he designed. He attended the California Institute of the Arts, studying animation. Tim Burton's first job was as an animator for Disney. He worked on such films as The Fox and the Hound (1981) and The Black Cauldron (1985), but had some creative differences from that of his colleagues. Some years later he produced some big hit movies like Beetle juice, The Nightmare before Christmas, Corpse bride, Sweeney Todd, Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure, Batman, Batman Returns, Edward Scissorhands, and many more.

Tim burton has worked with some major actors and actress like Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Pierce Brosnan, and Michael J. Fox.
