History

Jim Carrey was born in Newmarker, Ontario, Canada, on January 17 1962. He started with his humerous life by impersonating his family. He begand to do stand-up comedy in the seventh grade. His teacher allowed him to have 15 minutes at the end each day to make jokes in class. When he was fifteen his dad lost his job, so they moved to Scarborough. Everyone in his family got a job at a factory. This made his grades drop severely, and sooner or later he dropped out of high school. He later moved to Los Angeles and did some minor comedy jobs. He finally started getting noticed when he got signed onto a season of David Letterman's Late Night Show. After this people started asking him to star in their films and sooner or later he was playing in movies. I think you can guess what happened after that. He moved up.
